He has deep experience in developing liquidity forecasts, integrated three statement models, debt capacity analysis, and identifying EBITDA enhancement initiatives.  He has industry experience in the automotive space, technology, media, telecom, healthcare, biopharmaceutical, and live events industries.

As financial advisor for several clients facing financial distress, Jason has: 

• Served as financial advisor to a public biopharmaceutical company developing a 13-week cash flow forecast and long-term free cash flow forecast to assist with the credit amendment negotiation and capital raise processes.
• Worked with $800 million media company by building an integrated three statement model, 13 week cash flow forecast, and conducting liquidity covenant compliance testing, resulting in a successful out-of-court restructuring.
• Advised Debtors of public Ad-Tech company during Chapter 11 bankruptcy process by preparing first day motion support materials, conducting cash flow and liquidity analyses, and assisting in the 363 sale process of certain of the Debtors’ assets.
• Served as assistant interim CFO to a $200 million private publishing company. He developed the Company’s business plan, liquidity forecast, conducted segment profitability analysis, and assessed the feasibility of a sale of various assets.

Prior to joining Novo Advisors, Jason worked at MERU, a boutique restructuring advisory firm, and in the Corporate Finance and Restructuring segment at FTI Consulting. 

Jason holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors.
