
CONNOR DOUGAN is a Director with Novo Advisors with an expertise in turnaround, restructuring, and accounting. A licensed CPA with a background in public accounting, Connor has worked with both stable and distressed companies, providing strategic insights and solutions across a range of complex financial situations. He has a decade of experience in accounting and financial advisory across various industries including manufacturing, professional services, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and software.
Connor has successfully led teams in preparing standalone carve-out financial statements of multi-billion-dollar business units. His work includes collaborating with finance, treasury, tax, legal, and operational teams worldwide to execute divestitures and support executive leadership.
He has also advised on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, including revenue recognition, pro forma financial statements, and other technical accounting topics.
Recently, Connor has advised several companies in distressed situations to develop cash flow projections, business plans, liquidation analysis, and bankruptcy planning.
Prior to joining Novo Advisors, Connor worked at PwC in the Audit and Deals practices, specializing in divestitures and carve-out financial statements.
Connor holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with licenses in Illinois and Missouri. Connor is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
