JACK ROBINSON is a Director with Novo Advisors, where he leverages his accounting background and experience with three-statement modeling, cash flow management, and business strategy to advise and support clients in a variety of situations and industries. He has over eight years of professional services experience across the audit, accounting advisory, and turnaround spaces.
Most recently, Jack played a key role in the refinancing of a $30 million senior facility for a $320 million poultry processor, leading a comprehensive market outreach to more than 30 lending institutions. He served as the primary point of contact throughout lender due diligence, coordinating information flow and managing communications between prospective lenders and the borrower. Through this process, Jack helped evaluate competing proposals and ultimately supported the placement of a financing partner best aligned with the Company’s strategic and operational needs.
Jack also worked alongside the Chief Restructuring Officer of a $200 million paper-based consumer products company through its Chapter 11 bankruptcy and successful sale process. He led multiple critical workstreams, including U.S. Trustee reporting, UCC due diligence support, inventory monitoring/monetization of E&O goods, and vendor management. Additionally, Jack facilitated the monetization of the Company’s tax credits, helping return over $7 million to the senior lender group. This engagement culminated in Novo Advisors being recognized as The M&A Advisor’s Section 363 Sale of the Year.
Previously he served as a financial advisor to a lender group supporting a $250 million broadband and telecom infrastructure contractor. During this engagement, he developed an 18-month, project-level cash flow forecast to assess near-term and cumulative working capital requirements for the Company and the lender group. He also built a dynamic model to track job-level work-in-progress (WIP), delivering enhanced visibility into project performance across the Company’s portfolio. These insights enabled the Company to secure over $30 million in incremental funding, strengthening liquidity and allowing the business to pursue its growing pipeline while moving toward cash flow breakeven.
Prior to joining Novo Advisors, Jack spent over five years with Deloitte's Audit & Assurance (A&A) practice, where he served clients in the financial services, pharmaceutical manufacturing, aerospace & defense, and healthcare industries. He also provided consulting services within Deloitte’s Accounting & Reporting Advisory (ARA) group, offering accounting-driven business solutions.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University, and he is a licensed (active) certified public accountant in the state of Illinois.
Novo Advisors spots issues that we haven’t thought of. They always come up with good ideas and additional issues to consider.”
