Liza has advised clients across a variety of industries including aerospace, agriculture, automotive, distribution, food processing, healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, and technology. Liza is valued by clients for her proven ability to build trust, tackle challenges, and bring vision to fruition through diligent program design and management. She is skilled at effectively using data, analytics, and insights to continuously assess company performance and demonstrate impact through an evidence-based approach. 

At Novo, Liza has worked on several restructuring cases including a medical device company specializing in benchtop blood testing analyzers, where her financial advisory and business plan review efforts helped secure over $45 million in funding to advance the device toward FDA approval. Liza oversaw the financial advisory of a pistachio processing plant where her financial modeling and cost-saving measures led to an annual saving of $2.8 million, stabilizing their financial position and setting the foundation for sustainable growth.

Prior to joining Novo Advisors, Liza was a manager in the Office of the CEO at DentaQuest, a private equity-backed company and the second largest provider of dental benefits in the U.S., serving more than 38 million members nationwide. As a leader in the Office of the CEO, Liza worked with the leadership team and private equity sponsor on buy and sell-side transactions, financial due diligence, as well as value capture opportunities. She led multiple business improvement initiatives, including liquidity enhancement, financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and company transformation through cost savings initiatives.

Before joining DentaQuest, Liza worked for Deloitte as an audit manager where she provided audit and assurance services to a diverse client base, including multinational, publicly traded corporations, and privately held companies. 

Liza holds a B.S. in Finance and Accountancy from Miami University (Ohio) and is a certified public accountant.
